One of Germany’s major Destination Management Companies, COMPASS TOURS INCOMING – and the only DMC with its own offices in the six most important commercial centres of the country (Hamburg, Hanover, Berlin, Düsseldorf / Cologne, Frankfurt and Munich) – has appointed Supereps International as its marketing representative for the United Kingdom.
Formed in 1974, COMPASS TOURS INCOMING and its associated company, TOP TOURS TRAVEL, are divisions of KATER MICE AND TOURS owned by a Munich-based Managing Director, MICHAEL KATER. The group whose major selling points are its years of experience and country-wide network of offices - provides the full range of in-coming services including, among others, events, exhibitions, incentive travel, groups, meetings and congresses, special interest tours, technical visits and hospitality programmes.

The Germany Travel Mart 2012, GTM, has been rewarded again to Compass Tours Incoming & Top Tours Travel. This event is the most important tradeshow for the Incoming market to Germany. Each year the Germany National Tourist Board hosts the event in another city with 1000 participants from all over the world.
Compass Tours Incoming & Top Tours Travel has won the official bid for the 10th time and will again support the Germany National Tourist Board in organizing the event. Michael Kater, Managing Director says: ”We are very proud to get this contract again and I am very thankful to the Tourist Board for their confidence in our services. We very much are looking forward to a successful show in 2012 in Leipzig”.

euromic signs Sales Joint Venture with HPN Global
euromic, the oldest international consortium of destination management companies specializing in MICE travel, signed a preferred partnership agreement with Hospitality Performance Network Global (HPN Global).
The alliance will facilitate shared opportunities for HPN’s associates and euromic’s worldwide membership and was officially announced in Frankfurt, Germany at IMEX, the worldwide exhibition for the incentive travel, meetings and events industry.
As HPN’s associates around the world book business across borders in
unfamiliar destinations, the new formal agreement will allow them to consult with and refer clients to a reputable DMC with the local knowledge euromic is known for. As the two organizations grow, they will mutually benefit from the sharing of information and will focus on finding creative ways to secure business together.
